Have you ever wanted to get off of the well walked tracks and find your own outdoor space but maybe you don’t feel that you can use a map and compass well enough?

You can read a map but wish to hone your navigation skills by using a compass and gain a much wider understanding of different methods used to navigate then this is for you.

Whether you have lots of experience or none at all, I will take you out onto Exmoor and teach you how to use a map and compass, how to work out what distance you have travelled and how to relocate yourself if you should become misplaced!

During the winter months we also cover night navigation at the end of the day which is great for consolidating everything taught during the day.

The course duration is 6 hours.
