Our Sea safari combines Kayaking the beautiful coastline with rock pooling!
We will kayak to a suitable beach, arriving when the tide is out. You will then have time to lift up rocks and look into the rock pools, seeing if you can catch a crab, a Blenny, or find the huge array of sea anenomes, plus many more sea creatures.
I will then help you to identify your findings and explain to you about how they live and survive in the Bristol Channel, before letting them go.
This is a great trip for families or anyone who has a curiosity about what is under the sea!
In addition to the paddling and rock pooling, this trip will also give you a true Devon experience…a Cream Tea on the beach!
The beach locations that we may use for this is Lynmouth beach or Lee bay (this would be determined by the weather, tides and ability of the group). A sea safari could be combined with an additional trip, for example, kayaking to see the Grey Seals at bull point. this would then become a full day trip.
